Liguria Region recognizes the ECDL .

Taken from their press release:

A particularly important aspect of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning the link between certification of skills and the labor market.
Liguria Region has determined that it will work for recognition as a credit formativo delle certificazioni ECDL ed EUCIP nel sistema scolastico e della formazione professionale .
In particolare, il possesso della patente europea del computer (ECDL), nelle due modalità base e advanced, sarà riconosciuto come credito formativo nei percorsi di qualificazione professionale regionali e sarà accettato dai Centri per l’Impiego per il rilascio della qualifica di operatore terminalista.

5.0: 1 January 2010 mandatory exams

Qui inserisco alcune notizie importanti sui vari Syllabus riprese dal sito dell'AICA:

• Dal 15 Dicembre 2008 è in vigore il Syllabus 5.0 , con la possibilità di ECDL exams on Windows / Office XP.
• The Syllabus 4.0 will be used until December 2009 for both Windows and Linux platform .
• From February 2009 there are questions about Vista and Office 2007 in the two versions 4.0 and 5.0 of the Syllabus.
• From July 2009 applications are available on Linux / Open Office for Syllabus 5.0.

As far as specific Syllabus 5.0, compulsory examinations on the Syllabus 5.0 triggered by a January 2010 and then, starting from 1 January 2010 will not be as possible on the Syllabus 4.0 exams. Therefore
Test Center in the Syllabus 5.0 exams are offered by default - or in Italian as their first choice. Those on the Syllabus 4.0 exams to become second choice.

test or exam will focus on Windows / Office XP or Windows Vista / Office 2007.
will be the candidate to decide which course to follow and which to take the exam.
Some of the test center still recommend XP platform but I started to include the Vista platform, if I were you.
